I have worked in the mortgage industry for over 20 years in various roles. I started as an Account Executive learning the basics in the industry and then moved into an internal role learning how the processing side works, which then led me to the internal operations side of the business. I was a VP of Operations for five years, and then I eventually found my true calling as a loan officer. I found that my true strengths and skills came out when I was working one on one with our customers. I love people, and my favorite part of the job is finding the right rate and product with the least amount of money out of my client’s pocket while at the same time providing the very best service. Who doesn’t want that?
I won the President’s Club Award in 2013 from my previous employer for my exemplary customer service scores while originating loans. My specialties over the years have been loan origination in new home construction in the purchase market working with home builders. Recently, my primary focus has been loan coordination and working with other loan officers on refinance loans. I am known for my thorough organization and attention to detail on every one of my loan files. I like to attribute this meticulous trait of mine to my three years of service in the U.S. Navy back in the mid 1990s.
I am originally from Ft. Worth, TX, and currently reside in Naperville, IL, with my husband, son and our Newfoundland dog. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love cooking family dinners together, grilling out in the summer and spending time outdoors by the pool or on a ski slope in the winter. I love spontaneous weekend outings, home organization projects and trying new recipes.
